Okay, so I've ordered a Laptop Lunchbox from www.laptoplunches.com. I haven't received it yet, but am anxiously awaiting it's arrival! (The picture to the left is what I ordered.) While waiting for it to come, I've been doing some research on what other people pack in their bentos. I've started making a shopping list of bento supplies and grocery supplies. I'm planning to check out my local dollar stores and craft stores for different supplies or ideas. My thinking is to just start off basic. I've got silicone muffin cups, cookie cutters, and fun picks on my list right now.
My birthday is in February, and I'm thinking about asking for some of the bento books I've seen for gifts. I'm thinking about the Yum-Yum Bento Box and the Just Bento Cookbook. Might check into our local library and see if they have copies to check out. I doubt it, but it's worth a shot! Now, my Laptop Lunchbox kit comes with a book, so I'm going to check that out first.
